2022 Amstel Gold Race in Images

Images of joy, despair, hills, beer and a photo finish from the men's and women's editions of the 2022 Amstel Gold Race, won by Michał Kwiatkowski and Marta Cavalli

The 2022 Amstel Gold Race delivered two thrilling races. A second photo finish in two years decided the winner of the men's race, with Michał Kwiatkowski edging Benoît Cosnefroy after the Frenchman had mistakenly believed victory was his. 

Marta Cavalli timed her attack to perfection from a reduced group in the women's race and soloed the 1.6km from the top of the Cauberg to the finish line for the biggest win of her career. Demi Vollering won the sprint for second.
