Faces of a Paris-Roubaix finish

Dust-stained and exhausted; the extraordinary toil of making it through Hell to the Roubaix Velodrome is written on the faces of the finishers of Paris-Roubaix

Paris-Roubaix takes riders on a journey like no other. After an arduous day of racing, they enter the velodrome looking unrecognisable, their faces caked with thick dust and salty sweat. Many look broken, their brows furrowed in a look of confusion and disbelief about what they've just done.

Here are a few of the gritty faces that made it through Hell this year.
